What this means for you

The Benadryl contains diphenhydramine, which must be in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The packaging of the products is not child-resistant, posing a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.

What you should do

  1. 1 Stop using Benadryl Liquid Elixir, 100 mL bottles right away.
  2. 2 Set it aside where it won't be used by mistake.
  3. 3 Contact Arsell Inc. to arrange your refund. See the official notice below for contact details.
  4. 4 Keep the product until your remedy is fully processed. You may need it.
Official remedy (Refund): Consumers should immediately secure the Benadryl out of the sight and reach of children and contact Arsell for a full refund.
